Ivana Predarska comes from Republic of Macedonia where she studied pharmacy at the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje. She graduated in 2015 obtaining a Master of Pharmacy degree at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology. Following her studies, she was honored with two scholarships awarded by the Macedonian Ministry of Education and the pharmaceutical company “Alkaloid”. During the last year of her faculty education, she took part of the ERAWEB mobility program which allowed her to spent ten months at the Health and Life Sciences University – UMIT in Hall in Tirol, Austria. There, she conducted research in the field of Public Health.
She gained first working experience as an Expert Analyst in the Quality Control Division of Regular Industrial Manufacturing Production in the generic pharmaceutical company Replek Farm in Skopje.
In 2016, Ivana enrolled in the European Joint Master Degree Program “Advanced Spectroscopy in Chemistry” supported by an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. She completed the first year of the master at the University of Lille in Lille, France. The second year of the master she studied at the Leipzig University in Leipzig where she graduated in September 2018 (Department of Inorganic Chemistry, group of Prof. Hey-Hawkins) with a thesis entitled “Synthesis of carborane analogues of ketoprofen and tolmetin”.
